FREE Online Training Available for Preceptors of APRN Students
Winona State University’s Department of Graduate Nursing invites you to register for an online preceptor training course. The overall aim of these preceptor modules is to provide preceptors the most up-to-date knowledge and practices to help facilitate the best learning experiences for APRN students in the clinical setting. The training is made up of 10 modules covering topics from coaching/mentoring students, legal considerations, to precepting using a telehealth platform.
Thanks to a generous grant from the Minnesota Department of Health’s Office of Rural Health and Primary Care, this training is available free-of-charge to those practicing in Minnesota. It is available at a low cost to those practicing outside of Minnesota. CEUs are available for an additional fee.
Registration for this training is ongoing. You will receive access to the course on the first Monday of the month following your registration. For example, if you register on March 17th, 2021, you will receive access on April 5th, 2021.
